so, i have taken a few ~holiday themed~ 3d photos, and i thought i would put them up here.. why the hell not.
these were taken at rona (or lowes.. gosh i cant remember which.. a hardware store of some sort, not home depot, i know that much)  the giant stupid looking soldier guy reminded me of my cousin.. not cause it looks like my cousin, it just reminded me of him..

these ones are all of the lovely trees downtown.. and the giant tree downtown..

these ones were taken at the festival of trees.. i made them black & white cause the colour in some of them was kinda hideous!~  ..i have one with the colour too that wasnt so bad.. you can see the difference..

these were from the legislature grounds...

& a snowy one of the high level bridge that turned out rather purty..

& lastly the ever so lovely blue trees at NAIT..

oh how i wish i could draw.. or something like that..

so... the other day i went to look at christmas lights at the legislature grounds.. while there i was looking at the lights and i had the ~brilliant~ idea to try and do something.. to try and draw a shape with the lights, just a simple shape.. should be easy enough right?  ...wrong.  ugh.  so wrong.  ...i am not so skilled at the skilled art of light painting.. i just like to mess around you see.. i did not realize that drawing a simple shape by moving your camera around was not a simple act.. and there were oh so many lights.. and i am a stubborn person, and i am not a hurried person.. so i ended up standing there attempting to get a darn shape for a long time.. people probably wondered what the hell i was up to.. but whatever.
i did however get some purty pictures out the deal.. just not the shapes i was looking for, so i thought i would post them here.. that way maybe someone will see them?  & at least i can look back at them later...

i stood in the same spot the whole time.. but the lights were everywhere.. and i decided i liked the lights to my right for this better, so the rest of them were taken in that direction...

 

 

so yeah.. there is lots of them... but there is a heck of a lot more of them really...
on the way home, while waiting for the bus i checked the time on my camera.. the time of the first one i took and the last.. i stood there for 20min!!  20min trying to get it right!  but nope.  ..so i have 20min of these.. ugh.  but oh well!~  it was worth a shot!
